Happy New Year’s Eve!
No one else seems to be posting, so I guess I’ll have to.
I hope everyone had a nice Christmas or similar winter holiday. Les and I had a lazy morning and then went off to a Strays Christmas brunch put on by the parents of one of his friends. It was very pleasant - good food, plenty of booze and I made a new contact. :D
We went to Billie’s afterward, where she made more food and I made gazpacho. Les and I were pretty stuffed at this point, but we made and eating effort. Vi put on a SciFi original television show, and promised it would be good, but it was boring.
I soon started having a major allergy attack and Les took me home and put me to bed. Unfortunately, I still hadn’t cammed with my family and had to wake up to say hello. I was not with it at all and everyone mentioned it. My parents were quite relieved to hear me say that it was benadryl and not something else.
Les and I spent the intervening week relaxing at home with the occasional visit to friends. As a result, we’ve finished a decent percentage of our media and now need more!
Today, we’re stopping in the office briefly and then moving on to New Year’s parties. We have several options, and I hope we will be visiting at least two.
