Sorry (again) for the lapse

I’ve been without internet for a while - at a very frustrating time.

Here’s a quick update on my week:

Tuesday was our monthiversary, we went to dinner and a movie and both got sick. Les fell asleep from pain medication and I dozed while trying (unsuccessfully) to get election updates from his normal phonecard. (Data card is out.)

Wednesday I stayed home, simmed and read. Then we went to Ulrich’s parents’ for dinner and a board game. The game was very complicated and we were just starting to get the hang of it 3 hours in. I had dreams about it all night. (Was a nice evening, though.)

Thursday I stayed home, simmed and read. Les took me out.

I was up when Highveld radio announced Obama’s win, around 12:30/1:00 am EST on Wed morning. I’m very excited that he did win and happy for my part in that.

I am, however, very sad about the same-sex props knocked down throughout the country. Hopefully, the currently make-up of government will allow us to repeal discriminatory acts now in place, but it’s definitely gonna take awhile.

I really thought it wasn’t going to pass in CA. I guess I was wrong.

I came into work with Les today to get stuff done on the internet, but I didn’t get much done. I caught up on some news stuff and am working on photo organization on my flickr, but I haven’t

I think we’re going out to Les’s other gaming group tonight, and we have a busy weekend planned, as per usual.
